1. The tabs (lobbies) on the left indicate the level restrictions and car level restrictions (
V1-V9) which is needed in order to enter into those lobbies. Depending on your level and car level, you will be able to enter into the lobby accordingly. Free Arena lobby has no restrictions in level or car level and can be accessed by anyone and everyone.
2. There are 2 types of races available; Individual and Team. In an Individual Race, your goal is to finish the race first before everyone else. In a Team Race, two teams will compete against each other for the highest combined score of each team. Each racer's score is determined by the order he/she finishes.
Click on the
"Individual Matches" tab to join an Individual Race. Click on
"Team Matches" to join a Team Race.
Grayed out bars means that the game is already in progress and cannot be joined. You can become a spectator in any room by clicking on the
"Spectate" button located inside the bars for each game room listed.
3. These buttons are "Quick Start" buttons. By clicking on these buttons, you'll automatically join the available game room of the selected type (Individual Match & Team Match). If no rooms are available, a new room will be created with you as the host.
4. Create your own room by clicking the
"Create Room" button. When the menu appears, select the game type, course, traffic amount, number of players and a password if desired.
5. To race with a friend, click on the
"Find Friend" button and search for them by his/her IGN (in-game name)
6. This is the chat window.
Chat with players in the Battle Zone by pressing enter and then typing in your message.
7. For a tutorial of the Battle Zone, click on the
"Tutorial" button. To exit the Battle Zone, click on the
"Exit" button or simply press the
"ESC" key on your keyboard.
Individual Race
This is an "Individual Race" game room. If you are the "Host," you can open and close driver slots, select courses and allow AI NPCs (Certain Maps). To kick players from the game room, click on the
[X] next to their name.
Host's Control
This is the host's control panel. When all other drivers are marked
"Ready," the Host can then start the race.
- Set the amount of traffic here
- Choose a city that you want to race at
- Select the course options here. If "Random" is checked, a random course will be selected in the specified city.
- Select the course of your choice by clicking on the left and right arrow button or by dragging the scroll bar.
Individual Race
This is a "Team Race" game room. It functions similar to an "Individual Race" room except for the "Ready" and "Team Red & Blue" buttons.
click the Team Blue or Red button to switch to the respective teams. In order to use these buttons, you must not be marked as "Ready."
The host can only click the "GAME START" button when all drivers are marked as "Ready" and teams have an even number of racers.
